OverviewKeynote Speaker

Our Leadership Council is an integral part of MForesight’s mission as they provide essential feedback and insight from the manufacturing community. At the first biannual meeting of 2017, we are looking forward to exploring how we can continue to improve and refine our process for evaluating potential gamechanging technologies. We also will address the best ways for MForesight to provide value to the manufacturing community through our interactions with agencies under the new administration.

We are excited to meet at the University of Pittsburgh where we will receive a tour of select engineering and manufacturing facilities. We will also be treated to a keynote by Mr. David L. Bonvenuto, President of Oberg Industries, who will give us insight into a manufacturing company responding to the changes and challenges associated with the industry. Finally, our Education and Workforce Development working group will share their latest findings and recommendations.

The Leadership Council is comprised of leaders representing multiple industry sectors, nonprofit entities, and universities with significant strengths in research and education related to manufacturing.
