Across political parties and regions of the country, people agree about the importance of domestic production. With U.S. leadership in emerging technologies and the rise of reshoring, American manufacturing is ripe for resurgence.
Still, our nation’s leaders are grasping for ideas about how to facilitate the creation of quality manufacturing jobs. Doing so will require clear thinking about the future and clear communications with academia and industry regarding opportunities, risks, and roadmaps.
MForesight served as a voice of America’s advanced manufacturing community—informing policymakers, educating the public, and aligning research activities with national priorities. It remains a clearinghouse for the best ideas for the future of manufacturing.
